Grandpa Charles Reynolds was always an avid outdoors-man.
Sometime in the 1930’s he started a Reynolds tradition that lasted 30 years –
the annual deer hunt. The chosen place for the outing was Corn Creek, near Kanosh, Utah. Everyone was invited
but the majority of the attendees were family.
It became so popular; the men started planning for “next year” driving
home from that year’s trip. Once, one of Grandpa Reynolds sons, Jay, was summoned to jury duty and couldn’t go on the deer hunt. He literally cried as he watched the mighty
hunters pull out of the yard. He just didn't want to miss any part of the hunt -- the food, the fun, the friendship and the tasty venison all year.
